We are delighted for our sister company LW Haddow. They were Finalists in the 2015 Perthshire Chamber of Commerce Business Star Awards – Apprentice of the Year category – Sponsored by Perth College UHI.
Matthew joined LW Haddow as an apprentice plumbing and heating engineer. Matthew has been awarded Perth UHI Apprentice of the Year three times 2012, 2013 and 2014. He has been highly committed to maintaining his high standards and reliability within his trade. Matthew is now working full-time in his fourth and final year of his apprenticeship at LW Haddow, after graduating from Perth College UHI with a Plumbing SVQ Level 3.
Mark Haddow, Director, says, “Matthew has impressed us from the start, with his high level of commitment and consistently high technical work standards. I’m delighted with how he has developed and very proud that he’s on our team.”
Matthew hasn’t stopped there. In addition to his plumbing and heating capabilities and his gas safe card qualification, Matthew is also able to install more advanced products, such as biofuel boilers. It is his ability to learn quickly a range of new technical skills that makes Matthew such a valued member of our team.
Mark added, “We’re pleased to be recognised in the Business Star Awards. As a local business, it’s important to us that we’re growing our skills and developing our team.”
