Design Brief

Our clients from Cargill had felt for seven years that their bathroom was in need of a refurbishment. After an unplanned visit to our showroom they knew that they had found the right team and the time for a new bathroom was now.

The decision was spur-of-the-moment, and our client said that our impressive showroom and high-quality display products enticed them in. From that moment on our client didn’t look anywhere else.

Our clients felt that their current room was slightly outdated and in need of a modern and fresh re-design. The bath was also no longer required, and instead our client requested a larger, open-plan shower. As always, we listened to all of our clients wishes and implemented their needs into our design proposal.

Our site visit and consultation meetings allow our designers to get to know our client and to fully understand their individual tastes and requirements. By listening to our clients wishes we are able to propose designs that don’t just fulfil all our client’s needs, but also deliver some additional “wow” factors.

Our client found our design process “meticulous with a strong attention to detail”. They said that we adapted the design to suit their requirements and what they wanted.

Our Design

At The Bathroom Company, we pride ourselves on our highly skilled in-house installation teams and the high level of respect we show our clients properties throughout the installation process.

As always, before any work commences, we lay dust sheets throughout the property to protect our client’s carpets and to keep dust to a minimum throughout the house.

Our in-house installation teams consist of experienced plumbers, joiners, electricians and tilers. This team works efficiently together to deliver a high-quality service and finished bathroom, every time. Our client said our installation team had a “reassuring blend of professionalism and friendliness and treated our home with great respect”.

To maximise space, and to ensure we could install a large shower, we completely changed the layout of the room. The bath was removed and replaced with a large shower enclosure, with glass sliding doors and a rain shower head. Two recesses were also made within the shower, providing ample storage space for toiletries.

Chrome plated furnishings and LED lighting were used throughout the design to give the room a modern and luxurious feel, along with a concealed cistern, vanity unit and underfloor tile heating.

When asked what our client felt about their new room and if we had solved the issues they previously had, our client said it was “100% better” and that they “would rather leave the country than go back to the room we previously had”.
